As membership secretary for the Sponsors and Friends of SAU, I have spent some delightful time speaking with the owners of various businesses in our Utah communities. They have generously offered many amenities to SAU and their teacher members. I will be pleased to contact anyone else that you may know of who is a possible Friend of our Association.

Bountiful Music - 365 N Main Street in Bountiful - 292-1804. They offer a 10% discount o SAU teachers on music and supplies and their recital hall is available to SAU recitals and/or meetings free of charge.
Charles W Liu Violins - 52 E 7200 So in Midvale - 255-9636. They offer teacher discounts for repairs, materials and instruments.
Day Murray Music - 4914 South State in Murray - 266-3537 and 136 E Main Street in Lehi - 766-3201. They offer SAU teachers a 10% discount on materials and music with no charge for SAU sponsored recitals and/or meetings.
Daynes Music 1-800-788-6857 - 6935 South State in Midvale - 566-6090. They offer SAU teachers a 10% discount on music and the association free use of the Recital hall for Association Recitals and meetings. Daynes Music is also a sponsor of our Celebration VII 10-Piano Concert. They are furnishing the 10 grand pianos for the concert at the Conference Center, including the week of rehearsals on location. They are also furnishing space and pianos at their store for the two weeks of rehearsals prior to the Conference Center rehearsals.

Mark Geslison (arranger of music) of the Institute of American Music in Provo. He has given a financial donation and will do easy arrangements for ensembles, etc.
Peter Prier & Sons Violins - 308 E 200 S in Salt Lake - 364-3651. They offer teachers a $50 certificate annually good towards any merchandise in the store. They also officer the recital hall at a discount for Association recitals/activities and meetings.
Piano Gallery - 5478 Green Street in Murray - 266-9550 and 10888 South 290 West in South Jordan - 553-2678. They offer a 10% music discount to teachers and their recital halls at no charge for evening and Saturday recitals.

They offer a 10% discount on music and materials with open accounts for teachers and the use of their recital halls for Association recitals and meetings at no charge (there is no recital hall at the Clearfield location)

Steve Griggs Design and Sometimes Illustration - 2570 Willow Wick Ct in Sandy - 942-2108 They produced our SAU mobile at no cost which we have used at conventions and booths at places such as the Utah Symphony Family Fest, UMTA State Convention, and the SAA National Convention. Summerhays Music Center - Main Center 5450 Green Street in Murray - 268-4446; Piano Source 5430 Green Street in Murray - 264-9100; Orem Location 1006 S State - 226-1760 or 1-800-577-3575; St. George Location 140 N 400 W – 435-986-9666. Suzuki teachers should inquire about the Smart Music program that is designed especially for Suzuki students to practice with CDs on their computers. They can adjust tempo, isolate measures, record themselves, etc. There are great teacher discounts with this program. They also offer substantial teacher discounts on materials, repairs and instruments. The Main Center specializes in harps, band and orchestra instruments and repairs. Briant Summerhays and Kawai Pianos offer a cost plus program for Suzuki teachers on Kawai pianos in the other locations. Contact Briant personally for this offer. The St. George store has pianos, violins, limited sheet music inventory and a repair service. Discounts are available at all locations.
